"Mother's
Charms were
born in 1992 when my daughter's pre-school teacher -- knowing
I was a jeweler -- asked me if I could make her a necklace
with silver charms representing her own three children. As
a mother of two very young children myself, it took some time
to get this project done. When it was finally presented to
her, she was very pleased. In no time at all, others saw it
and ordered necklaces for themselves, and the Mother's Charms
have just grown from there."

In
1997, mini Mother's Charms
were introduced. The design on these 3/4" charms is etched
on rather than hand done and the detail is very fine. In 1998
a large 2" version of the etched charms came into being with
a similarly fine attention to detail.
